To tell your partner that you're infected with
herpes virus is a very challenging task. It can either make or break your relationship. Although, some relationships ended after a revelation, there are still several couples who survived the test; though the said virus is always present when they wake up each morning.
Be prepared when you disclose your case. Don't be afraid to hear a negative response, instead
prepare yourself for his or her reaction. Proper timing is necessary.
But, it's not necessarily that you will tell him or her about the virus the moment you start the relationship; however, you should not wait the time that he or she will discover it by himself/herself.
Look for the right place to tell. You can talk it over dinner, or any time that you think you are both comfortable to talk about it. Your confidence is necessary. Also, realize telling about this will benefit both of you. Avoid any physical contact during the outbreak to
protect your partner. And, don't force your partner to understand you; allow him to understand the situation on his or her own.
