lthough there is no cure yet for a person infected by a herpes virus, doctors are recommending ways to at least relieve the pain of this disease. Once you notice any sign of herpes after a direct skin contact with the virus-infected person, go to the doctor immediately to examine the symptom. If the doctor is positive about the results, he or she might prescribe medicines that are appropriate to the case of the symptom. The treatment process may not totally cure the disease, but will prevent the outbreaks, and somehow protect your partner for possible infection of the herpes virus. Unfortunately, researchers haven't discovered yet the medicine that will completely treat and stop the said virus.
If you are infected with this disease, hygiene is important. You should keep the wounded area clean and dry. Never use fitted underwear, especially if the infection is at the genital area. Avoid touching the
infected area, or if you can't avoid, a thorough
hand washing is recommended.
If you know that you are a victim of the virus, avoid having a sexual activity with your partner. Save him or her from the infection. Condoms are good for a
safer sex experience.
