According to medical experts, there are 80 known Herpes virus but only two of them are the most popular: The Herpes Simplex Virus 1 and the Herpes Simplex Virus 2.
Physical (sexual) contact allows the spread of these viruses which affect both the genitals and the facial area. Cold sores, blisters, bumps and itchiness are some of the common symptoms of Herpes. However, some people exhibit herpes symptoms without
really being infected with it. Science sometimes calls Herpes the hidden epidemic.
So how can you tell if you were infected with real Herpes or whether you are merely suffering from jock itch?
Jock itch is that groin infection incurred by fungus that breeds on moist underwear. If you happen to wear your jockeys while they are still hanging in the clothesline, chances are your itch down there is a mere attack of jock itch.
