There's a new herpes drug in the block. VivaGel, is a topical microbicide solution that is applied to the vagina before a sexual intercourse. Starpharma Holdings Limited, the developer of the product claims that the gel has the capability to prevent the viral shedding and transmission of
sexually transmitted diseases like HIV and herpes. The gel is said to be hypo-allergenic and it would not cause skin irritation unlike other products.
