Cervical cancer is an illness that is characterized by an abnormal development of cells in the region of the uterus that joins the vagina. Cervical cancer is the major cause of cancer deaths in women. But thankfully, with the innovation of Pap smear, which was developed in the 1940s, the mortality rate of women somehow decreased by a certain percent.

They also found out that those who have history of being infected with herpes have high a risk of acquiring the severe form of cancer. But there are also other factors aside from herpes that can contribute to the increase in the danger of having the
feared cancer disease. These factors include chain smoking, especially during pregnancy, and other sexually transmitted diseases.
